How it works

What happens when you reach out

  1. You send a request

Tell us what is going on and where you are. If it is an emergency, say so at the start of the message.

  2. A plumber follows up

They set a time, then look at the job itself: the fixture, the line, the heater, whatever is giving you trouble.

  3. The plumber finds the problem

They find what is wrong and tell you what the fix is.

  4. Then the work

Once you say go ahead, the work gets done.

Local knowledge

Plumbing here is not like plumbing everywhere

3 things about this part of Louisiana decide how a plumbing job goes.

A canvas tool bag holding 2 pipe wrenches, a tubing cutter and a torch on a worn workbench, with a coil of copper tubing beside it.
Most houses sit on slabs
The water lines and drain lines run under the slab, so a leak hides until it shows up as a warm spot or a high bill. In older neighborhoods the drains are often cast iron, which wears out from the inside.
Past city sewer, it is septic
Rural homes around Duson, Scott, Carencro, Milton, Maurice and Sunset run on septic systems, often aerobic ones in slow-draining clay. A tank needs pumping about every 3 years.
Storm season comes every year
A standby generator needs a gas line, a pad and a permit. A water heater with flood water in its insulation gets replaced.
